BA CONSULTING GROUP LTD.
BA Group facilitates the movement of people and goods in urban environments. BA Group works with clients and colleagues to analyze and improve existing systems and to get new projects approved, designed, and developed efficiently, with the public’s interest in mind.
While most other transportation consultants work from within large, generalist engineering firms, we focus purely on transportation issues and their legal, functional, social, and economic impact on client interests. We’ve earned a reputation for solving the most complex of challenges through the application of creative thinking, innovative tools, and vast amounts of custom field data from Canada and abroad.
Communities are fundamental. Whether around the corner or across the globe, they provide a foundation, a sense of place and of belonging. That’s why at Stantec, we always design with community in mind.
We care about the communities we serve—because they’re our communities too. We’re designers, engineers, scientists, and project managers, innovating together at the intersection of community, creativity, and client relationships. Balancing these priorities results in projects that advance the quality of life in communities across the globe.
Peter Venetas brings 15 years of real estate development, project management, community engagement, and arts and cultural partnership experience to the project. Trained as an urban planner, Peter has led some of Toronto’s most complex and architecturally forward thinking city building projects including most recently the Mirvish Village/Honest Ed’s redevelopment and the Lawrence Heights Phase 1 Revitalization. Peter’s approach has been to ensure that community interests, and arts and cultural programming are included in the development process and woven into the final project.
The focus is to generate results that deliver social capital, local economic development, and financial returns as well as ensuring that the process of change management is accessible, authentic, and rooted in capacity building between communities and developers.
