RELISH: The Foodie Event

RELISH, the Foodie Event, took over the north parking lot of Cloverdale Mall for a family-friendly weekend event of food and entertainment. The event included celebrity chef cooking presentations, food trucks and tents, a Tastemakers Marketplace of artisanal delights, and activities including kids’ workshops and a food-themed art battle! Celebrity chefs included Cory Vitiello, Rob Gentile, Grant van Gameren, and Shahir Massoud. The whole event was held outdoors on 20,000 square feet of temporary grass.
The weekend was concluded with a community yoga class with our partners ALIVE yoga & fitness, along with an outdoor movie showing of the classic movie Ratatouille.
This activation also allowed the local community members to begin to imagine the future of Cloverdale’s outdoor green spaces in terms of activities, food, and social connectivity.
