Cup of Cheer

With the holiday décor and Santa’s arrival, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Cloverdale.  The gorgeous Christmas trees are eye-catching at Santa’s North Pole Post Office and the frosted snowflakes on the fencing surrounding Santa’s Post Office are a wonderful addition this year, transporting us to a Winter Wonderland.  Santa has extended his visiting hours this year and will be here everyday, all day, until December 24, which gives us plenty of time to take our photo with the guy in the big red suit.

As I stroll through the shopping centre listening to the Christmas music, I notice the red cups in everyone’s hands.  Tim Horton’s has recently released their holiday cup designs and they truly make our morning coffee run more cheerful.  Every holiday season we eagerly await the release of Tim Horton’s holiday drinks.  This year’s line up is a delicious way to mark the start of the holiday season.  We welcome 3 different holiday themed hot chocolates:  Candy Cane Hot Chocolate, Marshmallow Hot Chocolate and Candy Cane White Hot Chocolate.  All 3 drinks are creamy, rich and decadent.  Of course you’ll need to pick up a treat (or two) to accompany your festive beverage.  This year Tim Horton’s introduced the Christmas Tree Donut, Filled Sugar Cookie and the  Raspberry Vanilla Roll.  I’m eager to the try the Raspberry Vanilla Roll as it’s a unique addition to their usual menu which consists mainly of cookies and donuts.  Go ahead and treat yourself, after all ‘tis the season to indulge a little with delish holiday treats and goodies!
