February 9, 2020(3 events) 10:30 am: Community Yoga10:30 am: Community Yoga –  Drift away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and let go of stress with Yoga classes at The Cloverdale Common in partnership with ALIVE Yoga. Whether it’s your first time on a mat or you’ve been practicing for as long as you can remember, these fun and creative yoga classes will help improve flexibility, strength and mobility. Classes are led by experienced, fully certified yoga teacher, who is there to ensure you feel confident, comfortable and challenged. Complimentary Adult Yoga classes will take place every Sunday from 10:30am to 11:30am. A limited supply of Yoga mats are available to use on site. Feel free to bring along your own mat. Each week, youth are exposed to a variety of new art skills including painting, drawing, sculpture, collage and printmaking. Instructed by a professional artist, Akshata Naik, the program is designed as a safe and inclusive opportunity to explore, experiment and take risks through art. This gentle chair exercise class is designed for adults 55+ who have balance concerns, or who are just starting to exercise for the first time. Classes will be taught by a certified senior fitness instructor. Register with ESS Support Services by calling 416.243.0127.
