Cloverdale has always been much more than just a mall. It’s been a vibrant community hub that has served locals and showcased creativity across generations. So it’s important for us to seek input and advice from the community every step of the way.

With this in mind, there is now a dedicated exhibit space within the mall – the Cloverdale Common – to host community events, run arts and culture programming, and seek feedback throughout the journey. We invite you to drop by and say hello.

March 9, 2019

What are your visions for creating a great neighbourhood on the Cloverdale Mall site?

Join us from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, for a kid and family friendly, model-building experience at The Cloverdale Common in partnership with Small Print Toronto, a registered non-profit organization.

Small Print Toronto’s well-known and loved Mouse City program is a way to gather feedback from the community on your vision for the future of Cloverdale Mall.

Aspiring builders, aged 4 to 12, will help construct a model neighbourhood in the Cloverdale Common, using recyclable materials incorporating the structures and outdoor spaces you wish to see in the future community.  While all necessary materials are provided, participants are encouraged to bring cleaned household recyclable items to explore different building styles and materials to represent your vision of the site.

Plus, have fun acting as reporters for the Mouse City Times, writing and drawing stories about what you think life in the new community might be like.

For more details visit our Facebook Event page HERE.

*This event is specifically tailored for families with children between the ages of 4 and 12 however everyone is welcome to join, no registration required.
