Kitchen Cheers

I typically do most of the cooking at home . . . correction, I do ALL the cooking.  Which I’m not complaining about as I quite enjoy it.  Food is one of my passions and cooking and food go hand in hand.  Being able to create delicious meals for my family brings such joy as they are my number one taste-testers.  I’m always looking for new recipes to try out and new flavours to explore.  I recently started building a recipe book filled with recipes that have been tried, tested and approved by me.  This gives me easy access to yummy recipes that I know I will love.  Coles is where I head to for new cookbooks to add to my collection and from where I gather recipes from.  Below are some books that I have recently enjoyed.  Whether cooking is your passion or you’re just trying to quickly get dinner on the table, you are sure to find some yummy recipes that will work for you.

Cravings By Chrissy Teigan – From breakfast all day to John’s famous fried chicken with spicy honey butter to her mom’s Thai classics, there is something for everyone here.

5 Ingredients By Jamie Oliver – This book is perfect for those who don’t have a lot of time to prepare a wholesome meal.  With chapters on chicken, beef, pasta, noodles, etc., each recipe takes only 5 ingredients to make.

Tasty Dessert By Tasty – Finish off your meal with a sweet treat such as a Confetti Birthday Soufflé or Sour Cherry Fritters.  Rise from baking newbie to MVP with these yummy dessert recipes.

Love and Lemons Everyday by Jeanine Donofrio – Vegan?  Or just trying to incorporate more veggies into your diet?  This cookbook is filled with recipes where vegetables are the star.

While you are at Coles, why not grab one of their recipe notebooks to start collecting your own recipes and start jotting down your own creations as well.
