Cloverdale Common: Arts & Culture Opening Weekend

Posted on: December 7, 2018

To celebrate the opening of the Cloverdale Common in December 2018, QuadReal collaborated with several partners to run a series of free arts and culture programming for the community. The future Cloverdale is envisioned as a hub for arts and culture, so it is important to start to explore these uses now – this is part of the mandate of the Cloverdale Common.

Led by Arts Etobicoke, Humber College’s School of Creative and Performing Arts (SCAPA), and Etobicoke School of the Arts (ESA), there were a number of opportunities for families and people of all ages to get creative, or to enjoy a great performance. Kids art classes, drumming workshops, live painting exhibitions, drum and dance performances, and jazz music performances ensured there was something for everybody.
